Sea Out

Timo Weiland, Spring 2011

Timo Weiland, the fantastic up-and-coming New York based line comprised of Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein, is definitely one to watch. As a longtime fan I was so excited to see their spring offerings and the collection did not disappoint! Updated nautical stripes were mixed with lace, florals, and printed silks, and the chic accessories did not go unnoticed. I can’t wait to see what else these boys have up their sleeves, and I especially can’t wait to get my hands on that cropped blazer in the second look to the left…

The Timo Weiland finale. Another phenomenal collection from Timo and Alan Eckstein! As a fan since the very beginning, I was so excited to be at their first runway show. The crowd loved it, the people watching was A+, the music was awesome, and the clothes of course were spot-on as usual. Get to know these guys—they’re gonna be HUGE.

Timo Weiland, Spring 2012
This season marked Timo Weiland’s first ever runway show, and it did not disappoint. Timo and Alan Eckstein put together an A+ collection full of their signature prints, bright colors, and downtown cool aesthetic. For the girls, backwards baseball caps complemented clompy flatform shoes and sweet dresses, and the men were anything but boring in floral anoraks and printed shorts. Also thrown into the mix were a slew of chic collaborations, including jewelry by Subversive and sunglasses by Warby Parker. With a solid collection like this and a spot in the next generation of the CFDA Incubator Program, these boys are definitely ones to watch.
