Shop My Closet Yo!
I have long had a pile of things sitting in my room to sell, but was always far too intimidated by EBay to ever give them a new home. There were too many steps, not enough customizable options, and I had no idea how to price my things. This is exactly the dilemma Rie and Jie, the gals behind Material Wrld, had in mind when they started their site. How much do you make something worth? How do you make it look good on that blah format? How can you skip all of the middle steps and just get those darn things online? Material Wrld solves that problem and creates a smaller marketplace for person to person e-commerce. With pricing assistance, customizable profiles, and easy-to-use settings, its the cure to my EBay woes.
Now the bonus in this already awesome situation is that while Material Wrld isn’t launching for a few more months, all week they’ve been having a pretty sweet pop-up shop on their site. You can shop the closets of ten tastemakers from the interwebs including the Dannijo sisters, Leandra from the Man Repeller, and yes, ME! Even if you don’t want to buy, please enjoy my questionnaire answers, doofy personal photo, and a short walk down Jessie Cohen Highschool Memory Lane.
Make sure to check out Material Wrld and follow them on Twitter! Happy weekend!
