Prada, Spring 2011

Prada Spring 2011 was definitely one of the most interesting collections of its season. Neon brights, tiki patterns, and seriously amazing accessories were all part of the wild parade Mrs. Prada sent down the runway, and those striped skirts and colorful furs have already made their own star appearances on street style blogs this past fashion week.

Today’s background is dedicated to the gorgeous Spring 2011 collection from ADRI. I’ve long been obsessed with this fantastic jewelry line designed by Adriana Unarreal, and as soon as I saw the Spring 2011 collection I was instantly reminded of Prada. Stunning statement pieces made out of rhinestones, colorful beads, neon bike chords, and gold chains are the perfect complement to Prada’s graphic prints and bold colors. Not to mention the pieces look great with everything, from a white t-shirt to a cocktail dress. We love Adrianna’s jewelry and we know you will too!

Thakoon, Fall 2009
Multicolor fur? Check.
Jewel tone brights? Check.
Broken disco ball shoes? Check.
Thakoon packed it all into his Fall 2009 collection and it worked perfectly. To highlight these gorgeous clothes, we’re featuring the jewelry from another favorite, Dannijo. This amazing line, led by sister duo Danielle (Dani) and Jodie (Jo), is full of the most covetable, drool-inducing gems that make me go weak at the knees. Layered over a t-shirt or paired with a cocktail dress, these stunners will make you feel like a million bucks. Grab your rainbow fur and pile on the sparkles! Thakoon and Dannijo are here to lead the way.

Today we’re giving some brand love to Rachel Leigh. I met Rachel at a brunch back in September during fashion week, and after my friends and I fawned over the jewelry she had on, you can imagine how thrilled we were when we found out they were her own designs. The crystal necklaces, statement rings, and bold bangles she had on caught my eye immediately and I couldn’t wait to see more. The holiday collection did not disappoint; full of bright jewel tones and chic silhouettes, the real stars were the earrings. I am a stud girl at heart, but when it’s time for a party some bold earrings always seem to do the trick. Whether it’s some oversized studs of dangling chains mixed with bright stones, there is something for everyone. Rachel has created a fantastic new collection, and I highly recommend you all check it out while doing your holiday shopping. After all, the fun of the holiday season is buying a present or two for yourself…
