Let’s have a little blogger love for Just JR. After stumbling upon this blog over the summer, I’ve been completely obsessed with it ever since. A master collager, the pieces are mini mood boards that combine bold graphics with black and white imagery, each perfectly conveying the feeling of the designer, place, or person. Add in the killer Photoshop skills, and you’ve got one fantastic artist. Below are some of my current favorites from the blog, and a look is definitely worth the time.

Fellow repellows, please turn your attention to the lady up above. From jewelry that doubles as violent weaponry to birth control glasses to temple toppers, she’ll guide you on your sartorial quest and ensure no male gets in your way. The perfect mix of street-style photos, personal snap shots (including a peek into her gorgeous apartment), and hysterical commentary keep us coming back for more. Grab your Canadian tuxedo, strap on some furry shoes, and tie on a turban; we’re lady-boning hard for this one and you should be too.

If you ever need beauty advice, makeup inspiration, or just something great to read, turn your attention to Eva Chen and Emily Weiss. Eva, the beauty director of Teen Vogue magazine, and Emily, founder of amazing new beauty blog Into The Gloss, are always ready with an opinion, tip, or insight into the beauty industry. Eva’s monthly column in Teen Vogue is a must-read, along with her many daily tweets and pictures from product launches and industry events. Into The Gloss is still brand new and already has a loyal following, thanks to Emily’s candid photos, insightful write-ups, peeks into industry insiders’ bathrooms, and the chicest site design out there. These ladies are my favorite go-to’s for beauty advice, and they’ll definitely be yours too.

Today we’re giving major Blog Love to Erica Domesek of P.S. I Made This. This DIY guru is leading a movement to make chic and affordable clothing, accessories, and housewares in the comfort of your own home. The combination of easy-to-follow steps, photographic instructions, and her own fabulous inspiration collages make each project fun and exciting. What started as a small blog has grown into a book, collaborations with favorites like WhoWhatWear and Design*Sponge, and even appearances on Martha Stewart. Everything this talented gal touches turns to gold (including her tools), and we can’t wait to see what she’s got up her well accessorized sleeve.

Today’s blog love is for Susan Tabak. Stylish in every sense of the word, Susan is the clever voice behind her namesake site. Whether its shopping at the newest boutique, taking us behind the scenes at fashion week, or reviewing the chicest vacation spots around the world, Susan is in the know and spreading the word about the luxury lifestyle. Today’s post is an ode to Susan’s personal style and our favorite feature on the site, The Daily Shoe. The site is a great source of inspiration (especially for those of us still living on a college budget!), and what better way to start each day than some beautiful footwear?

Ladies and gentlemen, please turn your attention to the genius that is Textbook. Author John Jannuzzi, also the brains behind Tumblr favorites Rogue Bicycles and To My Wife (it’ll make your heart melt) puts together looks for all of your favorite fictional characters, whether it’s Daisy Buchnan or Princess Leia. The accompanying descriptions are sharp, witty, and full of sarcasm (our fave), and the looks showcase John’s keen eye for fashion, as well as his killer Photoshop skills. We’re not the only ones who are obsessed; if you need more proof, just check out his regular features on Fashionista. The moral of this gushfest is that Textbook is the bomb dot com, and everyone needs to know about it. Happy Friday!
