Suno, Spring 2012
The talented design duo behind Suno had their first ever runway show this past September, and they totally delivered. Mixed patterns that complemented rather than clashed, beautiful swept back hair, and flowy silhouettes combined to make a strong collection that wowed us all.
Suno collaborated with one of my most favorite brands, Warby Parker, on a completely awesome capsule collection of sunglasses. I have been a Warby addict for over a year now and to say that I am obsessed is an understatement. Amazing frames, an affordable price ($95 including the lenses), and a brand aesthetic that I relate to all make Warby the incredible company that they are. Add in the fact that their employees and founding members are amazing and wonderful to work with (ex: co-founder Neil was on the Coveteur with his wife Rachel Leigh), and you’ve got me hooked. With three frames available in three cool pixilated Suno prints, there’s something for everyone. Whether they’re sunglasses, reading glasses, or even a monocle (yes, they make a monocle), a pair of Warby Parker’s are an essential for every wardrobe.
